Pill'Oops: Family Planning's Free App to Help You Never Miss Your Birth Control Pill

To simplify daily birth control adherence, Family Planning launched the 'Pill'Oops' mobile app, designed to ensure you never forget your contraceptive pill. Set personalized daily reminders for your pill time, track your menstrual cycle, learn about your prescribed medication, and access advice for missed doses. Aimed particularly at young women new to contraception, the app was piloted by a Family Planning branch in Rennes before its national launch in June 2017. Completely free, it's available on all major app stores.

Empowering Young Women to Build Contraceptive Habits

"The aim is to boost women's autonomy in sexual health and make this daily routine easier for thousands," Véronique Sehier, one of Family Planning's co-presidents, told AFP. "Forgetting happens to anyone, and it can lead to pregnancy." According to INED, in 2013, 41% of French women aged 15-49 used the pill daily—the most common contraception method. With constant tracking and automatic reminders, Pill'Oops helps younger users establish the habit. If you're prone to forgetting, download it today.
