The former soldier maintained perfect plank form for 8 hours, 15 minutes, and 15 seconds—a first in history.

To reach this milestone, Hood trained over seven hours daily for 18 months. Beyond planking, his routine included 700 pushups, 2,000 situps, and 500 leg raises each day—all under expert coaching, powered by Van Halen and Rammstein to conquer the toughest stretches.
Hood used his record attempt to spotlight mental health awareness.
