We're often advised to drink at least 1.5 liters of water daily, but the real question is how we do it—from plastic bottles, the tap, or reusable glass at the office? A recent study by Castalie, a leader in micro-filtered water solutions, reveals that while most people are hydrating, consumption levels vary significantly. Notably, men are leading the way in daily intake.
Among survey respondents, 61% primarily drink water from plastic bottles. Contrary to common assumptions, men outpace women: 38% of men report consuming 6-8 bottles per week, compared to 35% of women who drink 3-5. In terms of glasses per day, 41% of men aim for 5-6, while only 32% of women match that consistency. For environmental and health benefits, we strongly recommend switching to tap water—filtered if preferred—and drinking to thirst.
