Is it essential to carry a water bottle for an hour-long workout?
For most one-hour sessions, you don't need to drink constantly. Feeling thirsty? It could signal dehydration. However, mid-workout sips won't fully restore fluids quickly—your body processes about a large glass per hour, excreting excess. True rehydration from dehydration takes much longer. Stay ahead by consuming 1.5 to 2 liters daily, keeping levels optimal before exercise. A refreshing drink mid-session is fine if you want it, and it's crucial for workouts over two hours.
