Not necessarily. Many believe the liver prioritizes clearing alcohol, potentially hindering antibiotic elimination and reducing effectiveness—but this lacks scientific proof. Skipping doses for a night out, however, undermines treatment. Avoid the mix if you have liver or kidney issues, or epilepsy.
Minimal for moderation. Both antibiotics and alcohol can trigger nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, so combining them heightens side effect risks, intensity, or onset. Advice: Drink responsibly, consult your pharmacist, and review the leaflet before socializing.
