  • Warm your hands by rubbing them together vigorously. Cup them gently over your closed eyes and hold until they cool.
  • Sit comfortably, focus on a distant object, then extend your arm with thumb up. Alternate focus between thumb and object for 20 seconds; repeat three times.
  • Close your eyes and move pupils up-down and left-right, imagining a clock face: 12 to 6, then 9 to 3. Repeat five times.
  • Blink rapidly 10 times, then close eyes for 20 seconds. Visualize the clock again, checking every 15 minutes for five seconds.
