Boil 20g of mallow flowers in half a liter of spring water for 10 minutes. Remove the flowers, then soak 2 compresses in the still-warm decoction and apply to closed eyes for 15 minutes. It effectively calms irritation.
For eyes strained after a sleepless night:
Boil 20cl of mineral or spring water with 2 to 3 tbsp. of cornflower flowers. Remove the flowers and let infuse for 15 minutes. Soak 2 compresses in the preparation and apply to closed eyes for 2 to 3 minutes. Ideal for reducing swollen eyelids.
When exposed to overly bright light:
