Italian Cardiologist Unveils Antioxidant Ice Cream That Boosts Vascular Health

It's no dream: Dr. Valerio Sanguigni, an Italian cardiologist and professor, created an innovative ice cream packed with antioxidants. This unique treat is clinically shown to enhance vascular function and physical performance. While the full recipe remains under wraps, key ingredients include cocoa powder, hazelnuts, and green tea extract.

Indulgence Meets Balance

Tested rigorously at the University of Rome "Tor Vegata," the ice cream underwent a placebo-controlled trial. Participants unknowingly ate either the antioxidant version or standard chocolate ice cream before a high-intensity cycling test followed by blood analysis.

Results, published in the journal Nutrition, revealed significant vascular improvements in the antioxidant group, with no changes in the placebo group. "Who said healthy foods can't taste great?" notes Dr. Sanguigni, proving that pleasure and wellness can coexist.
