The Beat&Burn sports festival takes place on May 24 around the historic Loevestein Castle. Teams compete to burn as many calories as possible through exciting exercises. All proceeds fund essential scientific research into diabetes cures and treatments.
Two birds with one stone
Organized by the Diabetes Fund, this event promotes fitness for everyone—from fitness enthusiasts to friends gearing up for summer. Director Hanneke Dessing shares: "Exercise is vital whether you have type 1 diabetes, type 2, or none at all. Beat&Burn lets you boost your health while advancing diabetes solutions."
Burn 10,000 calories
Assemble a team weighing up to 500 kilos and burn 10,000 calories in one afternoon. Choose from boot camp, running, spinning, walking, cross training, and more.
Sports festival vibes
Team spirit and fun are at the heart of the event, with live music and a symbolic evening calorie "burn-off." Friends, family, and fans are welcome to cheer on the teams.
Special location
Beat&Burn transforms the 17th-century ramparts of Loevestein Castle into a premier sports venue on May 24.
